I am very DISAPPOINTED with the service of this hotel.. to think Manila Pen is my favorite. I practically grew up spending almost all my memorable events there.
Recently, my friend got married at the pen and while waiting for the rigodon doors to be opened, my gf and I decided to go to Escolta, to order coffee and smoke by the pool, something I have been doing for the past how many years everytime I'm at the Pen. (especially since the bar was closed at that time so smoking was only allowed outside) Then, this guy, named EJ AGUILAR, approached us and asked us if we were in house guests. I told him no and we were just waiting for the event at the ballroom. HE ASKED US TO LEAVE BECAUSE WE WERE NOT IN HOUSE GUESTS and immediately walked out on us after he told us that.
SO I Went to the front desk to call for the manager in charge at that time. Here's the worse part... THE MANAGER DID NOT EVEN COME AND TALK TO ME! If that is the kind of manager they have, I am not surprised why the other employees treat their customers badly as well.
WHAT A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!
